CNC Machinist

We are looking for a talented and skilled CNC Machinist to join our
multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for the sufficient
support to production department regarding the supply of guides roll from the
stand one to eighteen. To produce precision mechanical parts, tools
(Fabrication and repair) of various complexities and sizes requiring machining
or bench work. To set up and operate complicated machine tools (CNC) and
handling units in order to perform various machining processes. To perform
complex calculations, detailing and layout works and bench work.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
* Ensures compliance to ISO ‎9001,ISO – ‎14001 & OSHAS ‎18001 requirements by reviewing and updating the department’s procedures and documents.
* Receives instruction from Supervisor regarding work assignments and job priorities. And also receives from him manufacturing drawings, sketches and samples of assignment works.
* Turns over or confers with incoming machinist to relay instructions and pertinent information relative to assigned job.
* Interprets and analyzes manufacturing drawings and sketches to visualize the shape and configuration of the parts to be processed.
* Asses the machining processes required to the job against the capacity and capability of assigned machine taking into account the safety of the machine.
* Refers to or alerts the Supervisor on border line cases wherein the load pose hazard or may cause potential damage to machine.
* To create part programs for machining of rollers from stand one to eighteen and various mechanical parts (manufacture or repair).
* Manipulates the parameters of built-in interactive software programs to perform the machining of rollers and other mechanical parts. Responsible for encoding values retrieving, safekeeping and activating such programs.
* Initiates interventions on controls during program run as needed to normalize operation or protect the machine, tooling and work piece from damage.
* Perform in process and final machining inspections such us taking precision dimensional measurements, measuring alignments/eccentricity of parts, checking machined surfaces to detect material flaws such as cracks and dimensional minimum limits.
* Conduct detailing and lay outing works of complex/intricate components in the course of job or as requested.
* Conducts schedule or on the spot inspection of machine to detect malfunctions, sign of deterioration or damage.
* Inspect lubrication points and surfaces, coolants and hydraulics oil levels and replenish supply as schedule/needed.
* Recommends requisition of needed operational and maintenance M&S; (cutting tools, fasteners, lubrication/ hydraulic oils etc.)
* Fills up accomplishment report for shop Supervisor’s assessment and information.
* Keep tools, equipment and working area clean and orderly.
* Observes sound compliance of safe working practices on the shop floor and executing all industrial safety rules according to manuals and instructions and company rules so that no damage occurs to man and machines.
* Performs any other jobs as defined by the Supervisor.
