Position: Bartender (Full time #530372)
Property / Office: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
* Mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guests' requests
* Collects beverages from storeroom
* Cleans bar areas, prepare correct garnishes and mise-en-place
* Maintains bar stock in accordance with established standards
* Ensures security of beverage stock in the bar using key control procedures
* Controls beverage consumption of guests and stops serving when necessary
* Polishes glasses and respects all hygiene rules in serving beverages
* Promote up selling at all levels and by personal efforts through guests' contacts
Skills and key competencies:
* Must hold a hotel & hospitality management diploma or degree.
* Previous experience in bar or restaurant industry
* Knowledge in beverages and cocktail recipes
* Good English oral and written skills
