Our newest opportunities are for Superintendents to join our award-winning
team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
We envisage success in this role to include;
* Serving as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of finishes works.
* Leading, directing and monitoring the performance of site engineers and support staff under your charge.
* Being aware, supervising and remaining vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities.
* Advising and assist the Contractor on construction procedures.
* Carrying out headcounts, ensuring materials arrive on time and work is happening in sequence.
* Carrying out inspections to ensure the finishes are to a high quality.
* Liaising with the Consultant/Design Team to achieve the highest achievable standards within the contracts.
* Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with Contract Documents.
* Attending review meetings, weekly and monthly, and any other progress meetings held at site.
* Providing weekly and monthly reports, as required for the site record.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career
journey to date will include minimum 10 years' experience partnered with a
Bachelor in Engineering or relevant degree.
Please note priority will be given to candidates with their own visas or the
ability to be seconded by their current employer. Candidates who possess
contractor experience and can mobilize immediately for a short-term contract
will be viewed favorably.
