Job description
About you
You have the ability to prioritise and organize own work in order to make the
most efficient use of time available. You have the ability to foster
collaborative relationships with different target groups resulting in the
establishment of strong communication networks. You have excellent verbal and
written communication skills to engage a receiver by creating a passion for
your plans.
What 's more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities
and motivation:
* Live and share the IKEA values every day
* University graduate in Interior design and Visual Merchandising
* 3 to 5 years Experience in similar role, preferably in retail industry
* Good Experience on Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe and Microsoft programs.
* Ability to combine commercial, aesthetic and practical skills.
* Ability to generate, visualize and present new ideas.
* Must be a multi-tasked and have a strong team spirit.
* Strong Strategic Planning and Analytical Skills
* Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.
* Flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities as well as the ability to meet set deadlines
* Arabic speaker is an added advantage.
* Excellent English Communication skills
* Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work in teams.

About the role
You are responsible to secure that the visual expression of the store is in
line with the IKEA manuals so the IKEA Concept is fully implemented. You
works with the visual presentation of the IKEA product range in the Showroom.
All designing, presentations and communications should be as per IKEA
standards. To establish rapport and credibility in assisting customers to
purchase the company 's product range whilst at the same time maintaining the
company's standard of merchandising and ensuring stock availability to achieve
sales target set by the company by going the extra mile to exceed
expectations.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Responsible to secure that the visual expression of the store is in line with
the IKEA manuals so the IKEA Concept is fully implemented.
* Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings and perspectives accordingly to IKEA Concept.
* Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom
* Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar according to the Country Vitality Calendar
* Get involved in other projects relating to activities that are carried out in the store from time to time. This may include rebuilding business area, based on feedback from range relating to changed priorities, or poor performance of the area
* Plan and implement the room sets to be inspirational for the customers and offer home furnishing solutions
* Ensuring cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly display solutions implementation in line with local legislation
* Resourcing and maintaining a detailed knowledge of home furnishing solutions within the local market
* Maintain store standards to the required level
* Suggest means of improving sales to his supervisor as well as determine "slow moving" or "non-selling" items and suggest sales action.
* Maintain a full display of products via merchandising methods as laid down by the company.
* Be up to date with changes in the company's products range such as new items or changes in existing items; Keep the Sales Manager informed of any customer's problems/comments on the product range and/or any gaps in the range.
