The British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ a Full-time University
and Careers Advisor, to commence September 2024.
BSAK is rated Outstanding across all performance standards in both our local
Government Agency inspection (ADEK) and that of British Schools Overseas
(BSO); and in 2023 we were awarded 5 awards in the Schools Compared.com, Top
School Awards; Overall Best School in the UAE, Best British Curriculum, Best
School for Sport, Best Fine Art and Best Principal. We are also the first
school outside of the UK to receive the Carnegie Gold Award for Mental Health.
BSAK is looking for the best overall candidate and the role may suit:
a qualified teacher with either a QTS honours Degree or a PGCE qualification
a qualified Careers Advisor with a related Bachelor's Degree or NVQ Level 4 in
a related discipline.
For a qualified teacher, the role may be accompanied by 0.2 FTE teaching
commitment and be on the teacher pay scale. Candidates should have experience
in working with children/young people in an educational setting.
The successful candidate will have experience in careers and university
guidance and have excellent knowledge of the application process for UK, US
and other universities.
