Club Lounge Beach Attendant

Position: Club Lounge Beach Attendant (Full time #‎535806)

Responsibilities :
* Provides sunbed set up maintaining it throughout the stay.
* Provides scheduled services/ offerings during the day.
* Provide information about recreation activities and service hours of the EP Club.
* Ensure all guests received Towels / Complimentary water within the first ‎4 minutes and refill as required.
* Maintains and organizes sunbeds, umbrella tables, etc. in a neat and tidy manner.
* On a daily basis clean and prepare the beach guest lounging areas so that they are safe and prepared in accordance with departmental SOP's ready for guest use.
* Under the guidance of the departmental supervisory team helps, produces, operates, and constantly updates the current departmental SOP's in so far as they affect the work of the Beach Assistant.
* Arrange clean towels and send dirty towels to the laundry.
* Complete daily cleaning program as per Supervisor's instructions.
* Ensure the safety of Guests, respond to emergencies or assist lifeguards as required.
* Have full knowledge of the EP Club facilities, e.g. timings, promotions / daily activities, and prices, and assist in upselling.
* Ensure to have records of the EP Club guests.
* Assist in opening and closing the beach / Cabanas / or any other facilities.
* Have a good understanding of the EP Club Concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests.
* Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service in order to provide an efficient service. This includes cleaning tasks in front and back of the house as well as polishing and assembling equipment.
* Be able to operate the required steps on the POS - point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders.
* Ensure all dishes are presented in compliance with hotel standards and food & beverage specifications.
* Conserve all outlet equipment and utensils in good condition by proper day-to-day handling of all applicable utensils and by carrying out required side duties as assigned.
* Assist in picking up all required stocks, including linen, beverage, dried goods, and others, and arrange them accordingly.
* Ensure product knowledge is up to date.
* Ensure that management and kitchen colleagues are informed of any special guest preferences or allergies.
* Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Restaurant/ Outlet Manager.
* Communicate well with colleagues and superiors in order to avoid misunderstandings and other shortfalls caused by lack of communication.
* Report any guest complaints to your Superiors immediately.
* Collects the afternoon and evening buffet set-ups from the kitchen and returns the leftovers.
* Counts the soft drinks and alcohol.
* Counts the operating equipment.
* Collects the orders from the storeroom.
* Prepares the operating equipment daily for the service.
* Brings down the dirty linen to the linen room.
* Orders and collects clean linen.
* Participates in food and beverage, linen, and operating equipment inventory.
Skills & requirements
* Fluent in English
* Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
* Initiative with good customer service skills
* Related working F&B experience in hotel/restaurant is preferred
* Enjoys interacting with guests and meeting new people
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Good team player and willing to learn
* Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
* Dynamic and energetic
