Aldar Academies are seeking a Receptionist for Al Bateen Academy commencing
Immediately.
Al Bateen Academy is located in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi and is a
hugely popular school based in a vibrant community. The school is a high
achieving British and IB World School (Years 7 to 13) easily exceeding IB
Diploma global averages year on year and achieving outstanding I/GCSE results.
The school recently expanded into primary years, starting with FS2 to Year 3,
and developed this year to include a full primary provision, FS2 to Year 6.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an exciting addition and provides the
community with an all through school experience from FS1 to Year 13 offering
PYP, UK and IB Diploma options.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Certificate/Diploma or bachelor's degree certificate.
Minimum Experience Minimum Experience
* 2 years' experience in a receptionist or customer facing role in the region
* Experience in a school or education setting is preferred

* Fluent standard of English communication skills, written and oral.
* Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
* Effective communicator at different levels, both orally and in writing.
* Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with customers in a diverse multi-cultural environment
* Computer literate, including all social media platforms.
* Attentiveness, able to listen effectively and ask questions
* A team player, willing to support colleagues to deliver results
* Willingness to learn
* Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure.
* Organizational ability, of self and others with impeccable office management skills
* Arabic speaking, reading and writing is preferable

Main Duties
* Provide high quality customer service to all potential and existing customers.
* Your main responsibilities will include providing information to visitors on a full range of topics, answering phone calls in a courteous manner and maintaining a database of school visitors
Specific Duties
* Deliver high quality customer service to all visitors and staff, representing the Academy in a professional manner
* Greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
* Have a strong knowledge of the key information about the Academy
* Offer guidance and assistance to parents through the student registration and admission process during the initial enquiry stage
* Assist with school tours when necessary
* Provide general clerical/administrative support e.g., updating attendance registers
* Photocopying, filing, faxing, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence
* Undertake word-processing and other IT based tasks e.g., database, excel, Internet research
* Produce lists/information/data as required e.g., class lists
* Sort and distribute mail
* Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
* Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner (following our standard telephone etiquette/ protocol)
* Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms and brochures)
* Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
* Assist Admissions team with in-bound and out-bound calls
* Log admissions enquiries into the school MIS - data base
* Update calendars and schedule school tours
* Arrange transportation for visitors when require
* Provide accurate and comprehensive information about the schools, including the curriculum, education level and tuition fees.
* Respond to telephone calls and enquiries courteously and direct calls to appropriate school personnel, using the School Referral System.
* Drive enrolments by promoting schools and summer programmes to prospective parents through conducting outbound calls.
* Assist with tasks assigned as and when required by the management team.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post (ie.lead nurturing, parent tours)
* Perform other duties as requested by direct and dotted line reporting managers/ supervisors
