Facility Officer

Responsibilities:
* Coordination with the Occupational Health and Safety department to ensure the facilities are a safe environment suitable for the company's operations
* Coordination with the Landlord and government departments to ensure the facilities and any modifications and improvements meet regulatory and statutory requirements
* Coordination with the Security department to ensure Saab's UAE infrastructure complies with Saab Corporate minimum level of compliance.
* Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
* Manage the upkeep of company equipment to meet health and safety standards
* Manage the service providers such as waste removal, fire suppression and detection, maintenance providers and security to ensure the adequate functioning of the facilities
* Inspect the buildings structures to determine the need for repairs and renovations
* Review utilities consumption and identity efficacies
* Manage the allocation and improvements to office space according to both current and future needs
* Preserving the good condition of Saab's UAE infrastructure
* Waste management
Qualifications
* Qualification and FMP (facility management professional) certificate
* HSE knowledge and understanding
* Asset management knowledge
* Building Management
* Production understanding and knowledge advantageous
* Contract compliance understanding
* ‎3+ years relevant experience in a similar field
Skills
* Team spirit,
* Knowledge sharing and ability to work autonomously within a team with a positive attitude.
* To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
* Ability to work in decentralized teams.
* Problem solver with good communication skills
* Fully knowledgeable with all the latest MS applications including Microsoft Project, Power Point and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and deadline orientated
* Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
* Arabic speaker is an advantage
