Logistics Information System (LIS) Trainer (Maintenance SME)

Perform assessments and training of Maintenance Management to provide quality
assurance and advice in the area of maintenance in support of APS-‎5 Readiness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide maintenance training courses to include -‎10/-‎20 inspection procedures, Army Maintenance Regulations and Policies, Modification Work Orders, Warranty Identification and Reporting, Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) GCSS-Army Unit Maintenance Modules to include Work Order processes, Equipment Maintenance Records, Parts Requisitions & Unit Readiness Reporting
* Provide subject matter expertise in all logistics areas to perform maintenance, evaluation and training up to the BDE level. These areas will include maintenance operations at the Unit level; maintenance management practices and procedures; Equipment records management; equipment maintenance; and GCSS-A applications associated with each of these areas.
* Work closely with Maintenance Management to perform a variety of highly complex analytical planning, development, testing, and evaluation of maintenance operations.
* Work closely with Maintenance Management to devise and implement strategies for solving operational issues to increase production/performance.
* Onsite (over-the-shoulder) assistance shall include one-on-one staff training, section collective training, or department directed training.Onsite assistance will include, but not limited to, maintenance operations; shop stock supply management; vehicle and ground support equipment PMCS; DA 5988E utilization; Communication and Electronics PMCS; and ARIMS/Publications operations.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* ‎4 years supervisory leadership experience
* ‎5 years GCSS-Army experience (Subject Matter Expert - Maintenance)
Education:
* High school diploma required
* Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Experience:
* ‎10 years of job-related experience required
* Subject Matter Level (SME) experience at the Brigade/equivalent level with Army Logistics systems (GCSS-A, LIW, MMIS, TIMS, AESIP) as a Combat Service Support Automation Management Officer (CSSAMO) or equivalent
* GCSS-Army Certification required
* Staff experience as a primary staff officer, primary staff directorate NCOIC, or a primary staff directorate warrant officer highly preferred
* Previous experience as GCSS-Army training/trainer preferred
* Knowledge of TAMMS preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to train, coach, and evaluate knowledge and skills.
* Must have knowledge base that is recognized as Expert Level in area of training USG STAMIS system(s).
* Requires the ability to operate application software including but not limited to word-processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint programs.
* Strong customer presence - excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
* Position may require travel.
Certification, License & Clearance:
* U.S. Citizenshiprequired.
* Secret Clearance is required
Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
* Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
* Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
* Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
