Job Summary

Executing all the warehouse activities from Picking Orders, Loading,
Offloading and Arranging.

Responsibilities

Operational tasks:
* To support warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient flow of activities.
* FLT is assigned officially to the operator, where he is fully responsible for the FLT
* Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
* Loading and offloading goods from vehicles such as requested. FLT operator is responsible of securing vehicles by:
* Requesting Driver to turn off his vehicle engine. Loading & offloading can be ONLY done if the vehicle engine is off.
* Using wheel stopper provided by site Before starting Loading / Offloading
* Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
* Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
* Stacking goods in the correct storage condition in compliance with EHS guideline.
* Immediately report any Materials / Pallets / Bags damage to his supervisor.
* Performing daily equipment checks such as rechecking forklift condition.
* Inspect forklift machine before using as such if need any repair or if not complying with general EHS guidelines.
* Report damages incurred by forklift or shortage or quality deficiencies of materials.
* Ensure the proper maintenance of his assigned forklift and W/H and report any equipment malfunction to his immediate superior.
* Participate and assist in the mid-year and year-end stock takes of materials in Mina W/H.
* Perform the following EHS related functions.
* Follow the safety guidelines of forklift operation.
* Use proper Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE)
* Not to leave the FLT key in the ignition switch when parked and not in use.
* It is required that a seat belt is worn when operating a forklift
* Only the authorized forklift driver is allowed to ride and operate the forklift, "riding passengers" are strictly prohibited.
* Observe and strictly follow the speed limit and traffic flow requirement inside the plant / site / WH.
* Report to his immediate superior any forklift related incidents, accidents, and near misses.
* Perform other related duties that may be required by the immediate superior.
* In his absence or during his annual leave, an alternate forklift operator is taking over of his duties and responsibilities where official handover of the FLT is required.

Experience

• Relevant Vocational Degree, plus additional time-extensive job-related
  training including formal examination


• A minimum of ‎1+ years of experience within a similar role


• Forklift License / Certified Forklift Operator Is Plus.

Candidates should have Very good command of both spoken and written English
language.
