Role Summary:
Saudi Nationals Preferred
As an Accounts Payable Accountant colleague (staff - level), you check, sort,
code and match invoices. Also, you process non-PO invoices in accordance with
the Delegation of Authority. You monitor and reconcile vendor statements to
ensure payments are up to date, and research and resolve invoice discrepancies
and basic issues.
Responsibilities & Requirements: You'll be involved in the following tasks
* Ensure data accuracy;
* Perform other ad-hoc tasks defined by the supervisor or manager;
* Handle inquiries through email or phone from both internal as well as external customers;
* Review payment runs to check data accuracy;
* Produce monthly reports (e.g. KPI, GRNI, AP Ageing);
* Have a continuous follow up on aged items;
* Provide trainings to Associate and Staff Accountants;
* Ensure Desktop Procedure Documentation is up-to-date;
* Recognize process deficiencies and suggest solutions;
* Participate in different projects, driving improvement;
* Assist with month end closing.
What do you need for this job
* Have (approximately) one to three years of relevant experience;
* Have completed an Economics/Finance related Secondary Studies or bachelor's degree;
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and any additional languages for the market or clients you will be supporting;
* Have relevant BSC and finance experience
* Are comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
* Have working knowledge of ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP): this is an advantage, not a must-have.
Preferred Experience / Skills: Experience working in an international
company is preferred.
