Description
Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a Production Supervisor for
mechanical processes to join our Koch Engineered Solutions Manufacturing hub
in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
This role oversees the welding and fabrication process within a manufacturing
plant and execute production plans while ensuring the highest standards of
EHS, Quality, and Productivity are maintained.
The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager and has
direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly welders on their shift.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Lead and Supervise ‎10-‎20 blue collar employees,


• Operationalize and sustain EHS, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Productivity performance indicators,


• Drive a 'zero exception' culture with EHS; sustain Operations compliance to Regulatory & Non-Regulatory regulations by engaging the shop floor operators daily,


• Help the Quality team to ensure compliance to QMS procedures,


• Lead the tactical operations rhythm and work inclusively with EHS, Engineering, Quality, and HR to prevent or resolve shop floor issues promptly,


• Drive On-Time-Delivery for the plant,


• Manage the job cost process throughout the life cycle of each job,


• Manage the utilization, capacity planning and manpower planning for the plant,


• Advocate and promote productivity initiatives and cost reduction projects in the plant,


• Advocate and promote 5S Lean initiatives within the cell.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Qualifications:
* BS/BA/BEng degree in Engineering or equivalent experience,
* Minimum of ‎3 years' experience in operating and leading a CNC machining department (e.g., plasma cutters, milling machine, and lath machines),
* Good knowledge of CNC programing and drafting software's (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid works, and inventor),
* Ability to fully understand and explain welding drawings and blueprints,
* Bilingual in English and Arabic.
Experience:
* Experience in a leadership role within a fabrication business (preferred),
* Demonstrable experience in motivating others within a team environment,
* Good understanding of workshop practices/processes,
* Demonstrated ability to lead change,
* Strong communication & organizational skills,
* Demonstrated project management experience,
* Demonstrated EHS and Quality focus,
* Proficiency with computer tools (MS Office & ERP system).

What Will Put You Ahead

• Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes associated with heat exchangers, flares, skids, and pilots with international customers,


• CNC experience in heavy fabrication,


• Manufacturing planning skills,


• Experience with Lean deployment.
