Job Overview:
Responsible for the expediting activities with vendors for all project
supplies. Proactively engage with vendors to ensure documentation deliverables
are on time and approved manufacturing schedule is complied with. Interact
internally with discipline leads and client to secure timely approval and
return of vendor documents.

Work with vendor and internal project controls to validate vendor progress and
report it. Work with the vendor to identify the list of their sub-vendors at
early stage of order and confirm acceptance. Identify and report areas of
concerns that would impact the timely delivery of the order.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Efficient and effective expediting to ensure timely delivery of high quality equipment packages, materials, associated documentation within schedule within the parameters of, and in compliance with the Company's Operating and Quality Procedures
* Responsible for the following activities (but not limited to):
* Reviewing reports issued by field expeditors
* Attending project meetings
* Attending project procurement review meetings with Clients if required
* Liaising with other MDR departments to expedite documents review and approval
* Expediting all equipment, materials and documentation as per the PO, SDRL and Expediting
* Plan to meet project schedule requirements
* Monitoring Vendors (and Sub Vendors as required) performance to ensure equipment, materials, and documentation is of the required quality and highlight issues that may arise in priorities, workload, competence, schedule, ETAs, potential use of sub-vendors.
* Expediting documentation both from vendors as well as MDR internal and Client approvalsand timely return to the vendor.
* Monitor the progress of orders with the vendors and take appropriate actions to ensure timely delivery of materials
* Follow up with sub-vendors if required to facilitate the progress of work
* Issuing project expediting reports timely
* Coordinate with PMT, Engineering, QC, Client and other departments to address all expediting related issues
* Highlight/escalate concerns to Project Expediting coordinator/PPM/PE/Buyer/PMT
* Owns the materials expediting schedule updated weekly
* Liaise with Logistics to arrange for Transportations/shipments
* Ensure receipt of final documentation from vendors in time and acceptance of the same by PMT
* Ensure vendors have access to and use the MDR Vendor portal
* Coordinate and close out OS & D, GRN issues
* Ensure vendor invoices related issues are sorted out on time and follow up with accounting for payments
* Facilitate PO close out
* Reports are timely and complete.
* Expediting process is accurate, timely, documented and efficient
* All communication with PMT / Clients / Vendors / Sub Vendors is tactful, friendly and respects confidentiality
* Analysis is timely.
* Meetings are timely, complete and documented.
* Investigations are documented, timely, accurate and complete
* Follow up actions are timely, complete and documented.
* Liaison with outside services is timely accurate.
* Follow up and support is timely and complete.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
* Engineering Graduate or Equivalent
* ‎5-‎8 years ofexperience in Oil & Gas material expediting
* Fluency in English language is a must.
* Working knowledge of Arabic language would be an advantage.
