Your responsibilities



  • Abide with ABB Safety and Integrity Guidelines with zero tolerance. Proper market sizing and channels to market definition in EG Hub Sales budgeting for MOSE Division offering portfolio in line with market potential and IB per segment. Implementation of new Division strategy and ensuring team competency to sell both DR & MG service portfolio. Spearhead market intelligence activities to uniquely position ABB to gain additional market share. Interpret the sales strategy of the division and translate the Business Area and Division expectations into activities for the sales team.

  • Generate solid sales pipeline with high information quality and balanced nature to deliver budget commitment. Sales Manager should ensure the sales ‎7 habits defined by the Business Area and Division are thoroughly followed among all the other necessary tools (CRM, IB management, etc..)

  • Ensuring sales team are having the right skill set to address the new Market challenges and address accordingly with the relevant portfolio with special focus on Digitalization

  • Manage sales expansion plans across assigned accounts, segments, and markets to sell MOSE full-Service portfolio.

  • Submit monthly and quarterly forecast for orders with high accuracy. Contributing to the entire gamut of marketing activities in EG Hub comprising of product launches, exhibitions, conferences and events in coordination with communication and local teams. Develop priorities map in line with Business Area and Division Strategy to ensure business continuity and growth. Motivate the positive change across the sales organization coupled with motivational reward and recognition initiatives in line with group guidelines. Capacity team building and skills-set development for the sales team.

  • Field coaching for subordinates. Lead the sales team and approve individual sales plans - performance management for service sales and sales support team. Targets setting per salesperson including financial, business and behavior targets.

  • Performance review with the sales team to upskill individuals.

  • Prepare business-specific development plan for team members. Control operational sales cost against growth.

  • Work closely with Motion Teams in EG and allocated markets and across the region in a very collaborative manner to drive growth. Protect and grow ABB market position and IB.

  • Target 3rd party IB with MOSE service offerings

  • Winning strategy formulation. Lead the sales force on the ground according to player map and market stakeholders including End users, consultants, partners, EPCs and OEMs to drive service growth. Exemplary customer relationship management.

  • Active portfolio management and positioning. Translate global and regional high-level strategies into pragmatic actions to generate additional service volumes.

  • Identify partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnership agreements.

  • Coordinate with different functions to grow MOSE service business. Cross functional collaboration with different Bas and Divisions. Coordinated go-to-market approach in line Business Area and Division strategy.

  • Ensure the execution of sales strategy and targets achievement in allocated markets, segments, and customer accounts. Develop annual sales plans for Motion Service in line with growth ambition and implement business-driven actions in accordance. Build service account plans and strategies focused on developing MOSE in key accounts.


Your background



  • Ideally, you'll hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

  • Minimum ‎9-‎10 years of experience with at least ‎4 years in sales management.

  • Service Sales experience.

  • Background about automation and industrial application.

  • In-depth market knowledge with external-in orientation.

  • Strong market knowledge, customers network and end-user connections.

  • Effective communication internally within the organization & externally with customers.

  • Results orientation and dedication.

  • Ownership.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft office (mainly Word, excel & power point).

  • Teamwork / spirit with ability to transfer know and develop technical capabilities.

  • Ability to learn and solid time management.

  • Work under pressure for long durations with maximum / effective output.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English is required.
