Job Description

Review the equipment utility matrix and arranges layouts best suited to available utilities. * Prepare Start-up for Project Templates: Concept Layout, Drawing Background, Templates, Coversheets, Drawing list, Specifications
* Work with PI’s/architects on concepts for project by preparing Drawings in 2D Layouts and 3D Models. Then rendering visualizations of the area in 3D and generate virtual Walkthroughs for understanding presentation and approval.
* Responsible for overall Space Management based onsite visit to verify site conditions
* Space Coordination of all Disciplines and Consolidate all Architectural & Civil Drawings: Walls, Ceiling, Equipment, Tools, Casework, HVAC and Mechanical ,Plumbing Electrical High Current, Low Current, LCS BM Fire Protection: Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler Drawings:
* Issue of IFT and IFC Packages, Drawings and Specifications Review As Builts
* Provide architectural design leadership on complex projects higher education and research/academic facilities
* Prepares the Design consultancy or Construction Scope of Work and Specifications
* Reviews the Project DBSP (Design Basis Scoping Paper) or the Project Scope, and as well as all Client provided data
* Validate design decisions based on cost analysis with an understanding of logistics and procurement efficiency
* Ensure that the Architecture team consistently articulates and solves functional requirements, through effective programming, space planning, and code analysis.
* Supervises and approves planning, coordination & supervision of the production of all the documents for the project
* Interfaces and coordinates with the Project Manager, proponent and building management teams assigned on the Project.
* Liaise and coordinates with all disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated
* Organizes site visits, and Client coordination meetings with the responsible Project Manager
* Be the main point of contact and escalation for team designers and project engineers.
* Overviews and directs 3D presentation quality being prepared for the Projects.
* Stay current with new design software developments (i.e., BIM, Revit, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
Skills
* Extensive knowledge and familiarity with Engineering and design process
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
* Min 7 years’ of experience.
* Monitors execution of capital projects and Works with minimum supervision.
* Performs other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.
* Expertise in word, excel and PowerPoint.
