Project manager for the Saudi & Bahrain projects related to Grid Automation
scope.
The key role of the PM is to successfully execute the commercial deliverables
of the Contract, to respect the Operating margins, whilst adhering to the
policies and processes set out by the Company and satisfying the Customer.

Job Description

The PM is expected to deliver projects in the Transmission and Distribution
Industry in Saudi & Bahrain, following financial and operational aspects:
budget, technical & contractual scopes, resources & execution planning. he is
also responsible for safety, quality, risks & opportunities management to
ensure the highest customer satisfaction & to secure projects Contribution
Margin .
PM will be responsible to plan, manage, commission, site management and
deliver an entire project from transfer through to Provisional Acceptance
Certificate (PAC) ensuring that additional business opportunities are pursued
and to deliver high levels of Customer satisfaction and maximum margin/value
with clear focus on safety.
In addition to the stated task, the Project Manager will need to be self-
motivated and well organized. he will also be expected to support Tendering
functions, and other peers, who may be less experienced in the PM requirements
and/or the technicalities of Grid Automation portion.

Main PM tasks include:
* Execute projects keeping high standards in Safety, efficiency, on time delivery and financial goals as per PMH rules
* Contribute to units' operational performance by providing accurate forecasts in finance Key Performance Indicators: Sales, Cash & Margin
* Business scope = Grid Automation projects (Protection, SAS , Monitoring & Diagnostics, & Services)
Major Responsibilities:
* Project execution (from tender to warranty end, including delivery & commissioning activities)
* Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract/project
* Execute Projects in collaboration with EHS, engineering department, contract admin, contract management, finance, procurement & other support functions
* Be accountable for On Time Delivery, Sales and cash-in realization (& accurate forecasting), project Operating Working Capital, Margins improvement & Customer satisfaction
* Follow project management best practices (as per Project Management Handbook and specific Product line instructions), including specific focus on transfer review, project gates reviews and project close-out
* Monthly update on actions plan progress & Sales/cash forecasts
* Preparation and presentation of project reviews
* Contribute to EHS plan, Operation department development & Unit continuous improvement
* Lead EHS/Safety actions and performance be fully compliant with GE rules and processes, ensure project teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required. Lead to EHS monitoring actions, perform HSVs.
* Follow GE compliance Policies ('The Spirit and The Letter') and promote open reporting
* Support Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveries
Qualifications / Requirements
* Bachelor 's Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university
* ‎5 yeas (min) in Project Management, Contract execution or Operational role
* Master in project/business mgmt or similar degree from an accredited university or certification body (PMP, IPMA, aso.) would be advantageous
* Engineering and Business knowledge in Grid Automation market
* Significant experience in project-, site management and commissioning in Distribution
