Senior Mechanical Engineer: We are looking to hire a 5 years minimum
experience mechanical design engineer. In this role, you will be required to
meet with clients to determine their design requirements, plan and execute the
design of mechanical and fire protection systems, and work closely with the
office teams to ensure that design specifications are met. Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge in preparation & drafting (AutoCAD) of Layout Drawings,
Schematic or Riser Diagrams and Calculations for the following Mechanical
Systems:- a. Firefighting System:- • Sprinklers System. • Standpipe System. •
Fire Extinguishers. • Clean Agent system (FM200 system, NOVEC1230 system,
FIRPRO system ..etc.) • Foam system. • Deluge system • Risers. b. Smoke
control system: • Smoke extract system. • Make-up air system. • Staircase
pressurization system. • Ventilation system. 2. Knowledge in requirements and
familiarity with Life Safety System Codes & OTHER Mechanical Standards and
guidelines specifically SBC 2018 (Saudi Building Code), NFPA (National Fire
Protection Association), ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). 3. Knowledge in interfacing
requirements between the Electrical Systems and Mechanical Systems i.e. Fire
Fighting and Protection System, HVAC System, Smoke Management System, Building
Management System (BMS) and Carbon Monoxide System. 4. Knowledge of preparing
technical reports for the status of mechanical systems installed in projects
with matching approved drawings, codes requirements of installations
procedures for the systems in the sites 5. Knowledge in preparation &
drafting (AutoCAD) of Layout Drawings, Schematic or Riser Diagrams and
Calculations for HVAC and Plumbing systems. Others: a. Read the Drawings and
Specifications for materials that meet the purpose b. Preparing project
progress and Analysis Reports. c. Computer Literate: MS Office i.e. Excel,
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Requirements: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
in Mechanical Engineering • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical
engineering • Experience with mechanical design and fire protection systems •
Familiar with Saudi Building Codes (SBC)/NFPA Codes/ Local regulations and
standards. • Experience with CAD tools • Strong communication skills • Strong
presentation skills • Strong problem-solving skills
