Profit and Loss (P&L) Systems Analyst

Job Description

• Consolidation of monthly forecasts and supporting analysis vs AOP, PY and prev FC cycles


• Coordinate and facilitate input from matrix finance structures (SCF, SG &A, A&M, Topline) for monthly forecasts, AOP or adhoc requests from BU/SSA/Sector


• Preparation of NOPBT cause of change calculations for Essential Foods buisness'


• Assistance with MBR, AOP, IBP & other adhoc SSA or Sector presentations


• Coordination & preparation of OCF forecasts (based on integrated input from FBP's, SCF, Control)


• Assist with the completion of FP&A reporting templates required by Sector


• Preparation of monthly KPI Scorecard/operational dashboards for SA F&B


• Measure BU Financial forecast accuracy and engage on projects to ensure forecast accuracy is improved


• Ensure AOP uploads completed timeously on SAP, across BU and matrix structures


• Interface with GBS for consolidated P&L AOP upload on HFM


• Assist FP&A Lead with adhoc reporting, projects or financial analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/ Experience Required
* B Com (Accounting), CIMA Advantageous
* Finance experience of ‎3-‎5 years. FMCG experience advantageous
* Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* SAP, HFM & BI reporting Experience essential
* High level of self-motivation, drive and focus
* Collaboration and influencing skills required to act across matrix structure
* Good interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of people from different backgrounds
* Solid communication skills and ability to interact with senior management
* Analytical skills, attention to detail and problem solving
* Acting with integrity and inspiring trust
