Quality and continous improvement specialist (Manufacturing industry)

You will be working as a Quality and continuous improvement specialist, will
be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions
Division based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. In this role you will be
reporting to Continuous improvement manager and will be responsible to as a
quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will drive and foster a
culture of continuous improvement across the Division of Electrification Line
based in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt. Reporting to the Continuous improvement
manager, you will create and lead processes to facilitate the implementation
of continuous improvement projects from ideation to a sustainable positive
result for the local organization and mastering multiple projects by utilizing
Lean Six Sigma methodology and creating transparency to monitor progress. By
identifying potential new ways of working, you will take an active part in the
continuous improvement of efficiency and share your knowledge within the
organization.

Your responsibilities

• Engage in production and managerial process KPIs and workflow analysis, to identify action to reduce process complexity and non-value-added activities in order to optimize processes and ensuring stable performance.


• Support/Manage transformational improvement projects and lead proactively project teams ensuring adherence to time schedule, quality and cost.


• Identify key team members in each function to support projects within the local Process Industries Division and encourage key individuals to develop their skills.


• Drive transformational projects with a hands-on and problem-solving approach.


• Assist with the analysis and communication of customer perceptions to guide the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction.


• Provide feedback and advise to engineering & R&D on systemic improvement opportunities in the area of design related to product produced in the operation.

Your background

• Bachelor 's Degree in engineering.


• Minimum ‎2+ years of relevant experience is required.


• Sound knowledge of Lean and six sigma, Yellow/orange belt is a plus.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Minitab are an asset.


• Experience using 8D/Problem solving methodologies.


• Ability to timely manage complex, several, and diverse tasks.


• Fluency in English and Arabic language is required.
