Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide personal counseling for students with a mental health disorder or disability.
* Facilitates counseling services within the department.
* Maintains updated tracking information for the students receiving personal counseling.
* Facilitates training, workshops, class visits, events and guest speaking in the field of personal counseling and psychology.
* Provides information about community psychological services such as assessments which will facilitate the process of students needing accommodations.
* Maintains current information of services provided on campus that will enrich student's academic and personal development.
* Organizes, maintains and expands tracking methods within the department pertaining to Counseling Services.
* Involved in various campus committees and boards as a representative for the department.
* Participates in professional development courses to maintain best current practices within the field of Mental Health Counseling.
* Assists in activities and functions related to the Counseling Center specifically, and Student Affairs generally, including but not limited to Orientation, Awards Night, and Graduation.
* Serve on University committees and other duties as assigned.
