AU is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join its growing
team in the Alumni and Career Placement at the level of Assistant Manager. The
successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the
Assistant to the President for Student Relations in the daily activities and
operations of the Alumni and Career Placement Center.
* Identifies operational problems, considers alternatives and recommends solutions.
* Coordinates administrative processes and operations, following general guidelines.
* Resolves highly complex problems requiring information from multiple sources of advanced knowledge.
* Develop and maintain up to date AU alumni database.
* Develop and maintain a close collaboration and working relationship with various industries in Kuwait to create employment opportunities for AU graduates.
* Liaise with various AU departments to obtain information regarding existing students and graduates who are employment-ready to aid their employment process and search.
* Organize a campus career day with employers for conducting interviews with alumni for the purpose of job placement.
* Support alumni activities including annual reunion.
* Provide list of job vacancies to alumni members.
* Keep regular communication with AU new and old graduates.
* Prepare reports when required.
