National_QA/QC Engineer

Role Accountabilities:

• Drafts and finalizes Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) for the assigned project.


• Establishes an inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and ensures it is followed in all business activities.


• Review and edit method statements in consultation with Site Engineers and Construction Manager for MEP activities required for the project


• Prepares checklists for installation and commissioning procedures.


• Develops documentation formats for Quality Assurance/Control functions and processes.


• Raises Work Inspection Requests (WIR) to be executed on a daily basis.


• Witnesses and reviews work inspections.


• Ensures the maintenance of inspection records and results.


• Arranges to close all Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) raised internally and externally.


• Provides supervision, guidance, and technical support to QA/QC Inspectors and Site Engineers on a periodical basis to meet quality objectives.


• Shall be accountable for determining, Implementing, and continuous monitoring QHSE and asset management system aspects in his activities and areas of work.


• Proactively approaches for implementing QHSE and asset management procedures & guidelines.


• Reports All QHSE & asset management incidents immediately and take necessary precautions to avoid reoccurrence.


• Reports to the Project Manager on the performance of the management systems and includes recommendations for improvement.

Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.


• ‎5 - ‎7 years of experience in construction with a contractor.


• Exposure to construction in hotels is preferred.


• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.


• Excellent command of English.
