Senior Resident Engineer

* lanning and managing works of all disciplines to ensure compliance with the relevant Contract requirements, specifications and standards, safety cases etc. D
* irect the site inspectors for Health and Safety performance, Hazard & Risk identification and reporting. C
* ommunicate with the Client's representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concern. P
* ropose in-house Project Management procedures to comply with Contract requirements and Client procedures. E
* stablish and maintain specific project procedures for Design/Construction Supervision Management (as applicable) P
* repare a special report to investigate any problem related to the Scope of Services and recommend solutions. I
* dentify priorities and tasks and develop the organisation structure to ensure execution of tasks by providing clear direction on methods, timeframe and schedule to achieve the stated goals. P
* rovide a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities of Hill International staff. A
* ttend Executive meetings and progress meetings. M
* onitor performance to ensure successful delivery of the Key Performance Indicators and client contractual requirements. A
* dvise the Client on any potential variation to the Consultants and Contractor's scope of work that may generate cost or time impact and present the assessment. L
* eading Hill International staff in assessing variations and claims and reporting the technical position of the proposed variations to the Client. A
* dvise the Client of any foreseen slippage of progress and propose corrective actions. R
* eview weekly and monthly reports as presented by the Consultant(s) and Contractor and present comments of non-compliance and/or areas of concern and corrective actions to the Client. C
* oordinate with the Design Manager during the detailed design stage of the Project to ensure Design Compliance with Client requirements and avoid any cost impact. A
* ssist in preparing the Project Management Plan (PMP) and Project Execution Plan (PEP).

* degree in Engineering is required P
* ost Graduate education, such as an MSC, is desired P
* rofessional certification such as CEng or PMP is highly desired. ‎2
* ‎0 total years of experience. At least ten years of similar previous experience; experience on multi-million dollar international construction projects is highly preferred A
* bility to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues A
* bility to work and coordinate with all stakeholders. E
* xcellent working knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to prepare presentations using PowerPoint.
