Overview of the role:
Successfully liaise with Team, Keep eye on Budgetary constraints and play a
key role in Project Managing
What you will do:
Responsible for:
* To develop a plan to complete tasks so that Projects can be finished on time and within Budget.
* To develop a plan based on Budget, work schedule, & available resources
* Estimate activity duration and resource requirements
* Accumulates, collects and analyses data & information required to produce Tender schedules
* Maintaining Engineering & Procurement log & tracking Vendors for delivery schedules
* Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of works
* Producing progress reports and forecasts for Team members, Clients and stakeholders
* Conduct Progress review meetings at fixed intervals
* To analyse the gaps between the planned Vs actual and highlight the areas needing attention for the action of the Project team
* Displaying and evaluating the Project critical path & advise the Project Team of the results and any appropriate corrective action.
* Managing and correctly recording all Project progress in the programme, reschedule programme to ensure the Milestone completion.
* Prepare WBS, Manpower Histograms, Mobilization plans
* Understanding and reporting on a project using earned value analysis techniques and interpret/communicate the results and any corrective action to the project team.
* Producing programmes that satisfy contractual requirements
* Managing a portfolio of Project programmes and supporting planning engineers or junior planning engineers including supervision and checking of works to ensure that all work complies with company standards & procedures.
* Working knowledge of Time claims analysis
* Offering hands-on advice to Management and producing reports for senior staff.
* Overseeing planning development plans and applications
* Providing counsel and representation at key planning meetings
* Informing and updating Budgets associated with new developments.
* Monitoring and tracking Project progress & writing reports
* Delegating task and ensuring feedback to update the activities progress.

Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical and any Certification of
Primavera P6.
Minimum Experience:
10 -15 years in Managing Electrical Projects - Soft Skills: MS Office,
AutoCAD, P06 Programmes
