JOB OBJECTIVE
Documentation Specialist will lead the long-term storage strategy and
organization for the Engineering Dept. documents for easy access for the teams
and Audit Purposes. Documentation Specialist responsibilities include working
with the Engineering Team to ensure the consistency of documents, training
them on document usage, and organizing documents across the Dept.
Documentation Specialist will be responsible for outlining a long-term storage
strategy, working with colleagues to ensure consistency of documentation
practice across the Facilities Dept., and training staff on efficient
documentation usage, among other duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Outlining a long-term storage strategy.
* Organizing an archiving system (Hard and Soft Copies of documents, drawings, manuals, communications …etc.), labeling, sorting, and categorizing documents for ease of use and retrieving documents upon request adhering to regulatory requirements.
* Utilizing storage software and applications for electronic filing.
* Ensuring the integrity of hard copies and maintaining electronic files.
* Uploading the files into document control database.
* Collecting supporting documentation
* Controlling access to documents,
* Removing documents that are obsolete.
* Writing and Proofreading documents upon request.
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor 's Degree in related field
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Typically requires a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in
Administrative Work (Preferred in Documentation and Archiving).
COMPUTING SKILLS
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
* Proficiency with scanning and administrative technology (Database management, word processing, data analysis, and file scanning).
PERSONAL SKILLS
* Outstanding organizational skills.
* Multitasking ability.
* Attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Teamwork.
LANGUAGES
Written and spoken English and Arabic.
