Description
Job Purpose
* To be fully accountable for the delivery of the Mega scale projects from Kick-off till handover to operations and ensure the successful delivery of such projects with no slippage of time or cost. Responsible for the customer relationship management as well as the vendor's management within the execution of the project. Leading and ensuring that all projects delivery KPIs are monitored and successfully maintained.

-Recommend/Determine and sponsor strategic direction to meet projected needs of EBU products in the market that address the Mega projects delivery and manage and resolve conflicting demands short vs. Long term -Establishing the right teams to deliver the ICT & Mega projects assigned to the team -Sponsor and steer the ICT and Mega projects -Ensure enabling the team with the right SME, tools and partner to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned projects -Ensure that the projects are delivered within the agreed time and as per the assigned budget with should not exceed the project cost -Manage the relationship with the customers and ensure healthy engagement and all the customers' conflicts are resolved -Determine and qualify any variation order with the customer and manage the execution of such variations -Manage steering meetings and executive account management for the projects -Lead and steer vendor/partner deliverables and ensure successful delivery of the projects -Ensure domain knowledge expert in the managed domains with full market awareness about the completion, products and best practices -Establish, monitor and track projects delivery KPIs to ensure the successful delivery of the projects -Report project projects and escalate critical issues on timely manner -Build and manage a competent service delivery center of excellence responsible for delivering world class system integrator projects delivery with the main focus of ensure the successful projects' delivery on time and as per the assigned cost with delightful customer experience with Etisalat team -Define the Delivery strategy and ensure such strategy is aligned with IT & organization high level goals and strategies. -Develop & motivate team members to ensure highly performing team and maintain the healthy working environment between the different teams. -Work on recruiting high calibers and ensure continuity plan for the team. -Properly plan and manage the areas' budget (CapEx & OpEx) and ensure the alignment with Etisalat plans. -Participate in the RFP and technical proposals to take the accountability of delivery after successfully closing the deal -Establish service standards and develop strategies to ensure meeting internal and external customer expectations and taking appropriate actions for improvement -Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the EBU products & platforms for the SME and Large segments from inception till operations -Make educated investment decisions via steering R&D, incubation, partnership in emerging horizontal & vertical technologies & evaluate new market trends to introduce new capabilities, services and enhance service quality. -Plans work and deploys resources to support the mega-deal opportunities and ensure the successful opportunity management till closure. -Ensure lowest platform cost and best margins are proposed in the technical offer and yet best possible solution proposed -Takes leading action in clarifying the boundaries of acceptable risk to achieve quality results -Maximizes human capital and people's commitment to achieving business goals -Provides long-term direction learning needs for staff and how to pursue the realization of this learning. -Institutes organization-wide processes to promote & support continuous learning & improvement. -Actively creates an environment that encourages decision making, personal ownership, teamwork and accountability at all levels & help individuals recognize and shape their own needs and potential.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL
-MBA preferred or graduate degree. -Minimum of bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required. -Arabic: Fluent -English: Excellent -Excellent Decision making and project delivery capabilities -Talent management & leading direct reports, providing guidance & development. -Proficiency with large scale project management and proven ability to implement within schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE
-Breadth of information technology domain experience and understanding, including application development, Architecture, IoT, Big Data, Cloud and client/device; server; database; network & telecommunications; collaboration; security. -Track record of integrating and simplifying complex, legacy/current architectures for a large, complex, multi-divisional enterprise -Delivery experience including mobile and online apps, open source technologies, IoT and Cloud computing and deploying infrastructure as code
