The position


The position is for five months, based in Aswan. Aswanese candidates are
encouraged to apply.


BACKGROUND
The Om Habibeh Foundation (OHF) is an Egyptian non-profit organization
established in ‎1991 under the supervision of the Ministry of Social
Solidarity. OHF is the implementation agency for the Aga Khan Foundation Egypt
and is an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network of organizations and
was founded by Om Habibeh Mohamed Shah Aga Khan to contribute to and support
local communities in the governorate of Aswan in areas including health care,
education, and providing income for deprived communities through long-term
development activities. OHF works in the following areas: Continuing
Education, Civil Society, Agriculture and Food Security, Economic Inclusion,
Women Empowerment and Early Childhood Development.


POSITION OBJECTIVES:
This position is responsible for ensuring a positive student experience at
training through being responsible for on-boarding, tracking, and reporting on
students through the training cycle. The incumbent will also be accountable
for error-free cash register operations, payment processing, and smooth
interactions with customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Admission:
Guide the applicants through the admission process by helping them complete
the admission documents to be able to enrol in the correct training program as
per the previously held placement test/interviews.
Frequent reviews of the admission process; putting forward recommendations to
the Marketing and CEC manager for improvements.
Inform students about results, prepare the courses timetable regularly, share
it with all concerned, also, regularly update it as required and inform all
the parties concerned with any changes whatsoever.
Provide support to prepare admission related presentations.
Host new students at the reception and conduct campus tours for them.
Communicate with new and potential applicants by phone calls, Facebook,
emails, marketing events, others.
Handle all inquiries in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner; follow-
up with students for any enquiries through direct meetings, live chat, phone
calls and emails, responding to web inquires.
Advise students about the programs, courses offered, admission procedure,
eligibility and costs involved.
Manage recording information into TAMKEEN database (Entrance Forms & Exit
Forms) and follow-up with applicants to update statuses and answer any new
questions.
Carry out weekly reporting & statistics of all admissions to CEC manager,
records management and filing systems.
Schedule and register students, schedule time and spaces for classes and
provide any logistical support for class start-ups.
Track students’ attendance and flag absenteeism within programme thresholds,
follow up on this and coordinate with relevant trainers and management to
lessen dropouts’ ratio.
Prepare registration forms for each class.

Be responsible for student data management, including adding all new students
and performance in database.


Cashier:
Receive and process payments by cash, check, or vouchers and issue receipts,
refunds due to customers.
Accurately and efficiently operate cash registers, making daily, weekly, and
monthly reports.
Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service and provide friendly
environment.
Maintain awareness of all products information, promotions, tests, and
advertisements.
Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the safe.
Balance cash by counting them at the beginning and end of the work shift.
Communicate policies and procedures to the customers.
Contribute to team effort and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.


Administration:
Handling all car requests through OHF cars or through the external vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Holding a B.A. degree in a related field.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work
effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both Arabic
and English.
Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
Knowledge of the broad spectrum of available university academic units,
curricula, and programs.
Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
Organizing and coordinating skills.
Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the training
programs.
Knowledge of continuing education admissions policies, standards, and
procedures.
Ability to solve problems and manage conflicts efficiently.
Knowledge of principles and essential skills of customer service.
Honest and reliable with high work ethics.
