To perform radiological procedures (Clinical and Research) and obtain
diagnostic information by operating radiologic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform appropriate radiological procedures as per radiologist guidelines and set protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during Radiology examination.
- Using proper protective measures for patients (shields, techniques etc.) during radiological procedures.
- Continuous education and updating of knowledge via seminars, courses and scientific literature.
- Daily quality assurance of all Radiology equipment to meet standards in DIC.
- Preparation of examination room for different procedures for Patients and Research participants including contrast studies.
- Ensuring examination rooms and work environment are well-maintained.
- Actively participating in protocol optimization and standardization for different equipment.
- Recording and maintaining appropriate patient data, machine errors, daily quality assurance readings, etc.
- Participate in research projects involving radiology.
- Monitor RIS/HIS & PACS Systems as and when required.
- Respect and maintain privacy of clients; confidentiality at all the times regarding clients/Research and other information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of previous experience
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
- BLS Certification
- Training and certification in PACS Administration
Other Comments:
Bachelors in Radiology - 4 years and Regular full-time study
