Job Description:
Planner Expert
Kuwait
The Planning Expert is the main focal point of producing all related project
planning and project controls. He will directly report to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Coordination with the Planning Department
* Review of current planning and controls procedures
* Develop new procedure or improve the current procedures
* Prepare, monitor, and report on progress schedules, implementing corrective action
* Set the outlines of Contract Administration procedures with the Contracts Specialist and RES concerned sections
* Develop a master schedule for all RES disciplines
* Allocate resources (planning ahead)
* Identify critical milestones in design and construction to assert certification hold points to control the elements critical to integrity, quality, technical correctness, cost and schedule (project controls)
* Identify and manage planning related risks
* Collect and review monthly and other periodical reporting, and submit them in a compiled form and present the reports to the Client.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* 20+ years related experience in planning/scheduling both engineering and construction activities of large road and highway projects.
* Effective oral and written communication, reporting & presentation skills.
* Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6.2 and other presentation software like MS Office, Visio, etc.
