Your responsibilities as Operation Manager:
* Drive Top line Sales for the country stores in line with the Business Plan, minimize & control costs within the budgetary guidelines
* Ensure that the stores are driven by retail operational excellence to increase the sales and contribution as much as possible in the daily operations (Conversion, ATV & UPT)
* Being close to the stores ensuring that the sales is monitored & followed up through key performance indicators.
* Have daily communication with all stores as well as with Dubai Head Office team.
* Continuously monitor and evaluate individual store performance including making recommendation for turning around poor performing stores.
* Monitor and continually evaluate that all procedures, policies, and controls are in place and used in line with company guidelines.
* Supplying input to budget processes in terms of setting area and store targets as well as cost budgets in cooperation with Store Managers and in line with company targets.
* Monitor store administration through periodical store visits and retail meetings to maximize operational efficiency within the area
* Maximise sales performance through recruiting, motivating, retaining talent and developing successful Store Managers driven by the achievement and reward of meeting targets in cooperation with HR.
* Advice Store Managers on how to coach sales staff to use their competencies to the best and bringing personalized customer service making the ECCO store a pleasant shopping environment attractive for customers and staff. Be a good role model and work with the team on the floor.
* Following up and monitoring that the company standards and policies (7 Selling Steps/ Retail Academy, VM guidelines etc.) are applied and trained in all stores.
* Having the overview over your area being able to support the fast flow of merchandise from one store to the other or to the Warehouse.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* University Degree of Equivalent should be good.
* Minimum 3 years' of relevant experience in a retail company.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on man-management and leadership skills
* MS Office suite (IT) with emphasis on Excel
* Interpersonal and interviewing skills
* Experience with assortment planning, merchandising and visual merchandising
* Knowledge of business development
* Able to speak, read and write Arabic
