The Hilton Kuwait Resort is situated in the modern, vibrant, and
cosmopolitan city of Kuwait. Our five-star resort is set on ‎1,750 meters of Al
Mangaf coastline, curving alongside Kuwait's largest private white-sand beach.

The Health Club is a trendy upmarket Members Club situated within the
Hilton Kuwait Resort. The Health Club is home to the follow facilities:

* Adults Swimming Pool

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
* Supervises and participates in the daily scheduling and direction of swimming pool & Beach operations and events.
* Supervises and participates in maintaining proper water conditions; assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities; ensures the proper operation and maintenance of pool pumping and filtering equipment.
* Supervises activities of guest in and around the pool & beach; enforces swimming pool regulations, procedures and water
* Safety policies and practices.
* Conduct daily briefing for Pool and Beach Attendants
* Conduct daily inspection of employee grooming
* Inspect all Pool and Beach areas on a daily basis to ensure highest standard of cleanliness
* Conducts on the job training for all Pool and Beach Attendants, life Guards & swimming instructor.
* Checks and maintains equipment and machines used
* While inspecting public areas or there areas, there should be an eye for detail
* Be responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, property and hygiene of pool and beach areas and service areas
* Show full cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
* Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
* Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
* Rescues swimmers in distress; administers first aid to the injured; administers artificial resuscitation and/or CPR; calls for emergency assistance when necessary;
* Maintain complete knowledge of:
* * Daily house count, VIPs in-house, arrivals/departures.
* Scheduled group activities and locations within hotel.
* All hotel facilities and services.
* All equipment and services available for guests at the Pool/Beach facility.
* All safety and sanitation regulations for Pool/Beach and Kids Paradise facilities.

To move into this position you should have:
* Previous Pool and Beach experience is an asset
* Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
excellent organizational skills and time management
* Considerable knowledge of the methods and techniques related to water safety and lifesaving classes.
* Certification of life guard training will be an asset
* Considerable knowledge of procedures, techniques and methods concerning the supervision and operation of a swimming pool, beach and including basic water chemistry.
* Thorough knowledge of rescue methods and first aid as applied to accidents in the water and surrounding areas.
* Skill in swimming, rescue work, resuscitation and first aid.
* Ability to organize and direct the activities of swimming pool, beach and kids club activities
* Previous experience with kids club activities/camps is an asset.
* Ability to prevent dangerous or unsafe pool & beach side situations from arising, to recognize emergencies and take appropriate action
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
* Ability to effectively instruct persons in the techniques of diving, swimming and water safety.
* Ability to maintain physical fitness and sufficient strength to control struggling or disabled swimmers
