Responsibilities:
* To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
* To comply with all Goodwood policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory
regulations are observed.
* To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
* To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
* Ensuring good hygiene and health and safety always
* Preparing ingredients for the team
* Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes
* Helping with deliveries of stock
* Support the Demi Chef de Partie or in the daily operation and in work
* Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
* always Keep work area in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the
hotel
* Control food stock and food cost in his section
* Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the
main kitchen or satellites
* Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to
complete the daily tasks
* Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and
keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
* Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 yrs experience in Continental cuisine
