Primary-KG-EYFS Homeroom Teachers

Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific
for teaching Primary, KG or Early Years grades. Instruct through lectures,
discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other
equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods
and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of
students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and
organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with
parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any
possible behavioural or academic problems. Attend professional development
workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve
professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and
student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to
evaluate student progress.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Education Degree for Primary or KG or an Early Years Diploma from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ


• A TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ


• Must have excellent English communication skills and could pass an IELTS at level ‎6.5


• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues

Required Experience:

• Minimum ‎3 years teaching experience at appropriate Primary grade levels or KG or Early Years levels


• Is culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly salary KWD ‎700 - ‎1175 depending on experience and
qualifications

Housing:

• Furnished ‎1-‎2 bedroom flat depending on family size


• OR a Housing Allowance of KD ‎125 ($‎415 USD) monthly and candidates find their own accommodation (rent is not expensive in Kuwait)


• Utilities paid for in the school provided accommodation


• Transportation provided from housing to school

Health Insurance Coverage:

Health Insurance provided for employee ONLY

Annual Air Tickets:

Annual return Air Fare to home country for employee ONLY

Leave:

In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per school
calendar/breaks. Minimum ‎30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

‎50% discount for one Dependent if they are attending same school as
employee

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

Residence Visa Fees will be paid for employee ONLY once at destination.
Employee is responsible for fees for dependents

End Of Service Benefit:

For each full year of service, school will pay ‎1 month Basic Salary according
to Labour Law of the country

Contract Period:

‎1 year contract - renewable

Paperwork Requirements:

Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts,
marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school
requirements
