organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep,
configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing
network issues along with updating equipment and software

HOW AN AUDIOVISUAL / VIDEO TELECONFERENCING (AV/VTC) SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN -
KUWAIT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
* Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
* Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
* Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
* Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
* Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
* Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
* Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
* Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
* Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
* May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies
* May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
* Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
* Required Experience: ‎3+ years of related experience
* Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
* Required Experience: ‎3-‎5 years of directly related experience supporting VTC operations or in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.)
* Demonstrated experience in operation and configuration of audio-visual and telepresence systems.
* Professional appearance.
* Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills.
* Valid driver's license.
* Location: On Customer Site
* Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex VTC problems.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements.
