Experienced Professional
Siemens Energy is seeking a transformative Managing Director who will be based
in Kuwait City, Kuwait to lead our Kuwait business. This person will oversee
and have full accountability for all sales and business operations. The
position will develop our country strategy, reflecting customer needs,
collaborate with local shareholders with an emphasis on growing our business
and developing our local team to significantly impact business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Managing Director will include the following responsibilities:

Develop relationships with executive stakeholders in key companies covering
industrial, utility and IWPP generation customers.
* Position Siemens Energy Kuwait as a preferred partner in the local energy market by means of utilizing local expertise and competitive pricing strategies.
* Collaborate with company shareholder to max. the company value.
* Secure expected new unit and services projects and look for additional cross-divisional opportunities with Siemens Energy.
* Guide the senior leadership team and build succession planning initiatives for key roles.
* Profitably grow market share with an emphasis on expanding higher margin solutions.
* Full functional responsibility for successful and profitable results across the business
* Ownership of the full value chain to generate business and deliver quality solutions.
* Define and drive the implementation of the overall sales strategy, policies, and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit.
* Create a culture of trust and empowerment by providing employees the means for making important decisions.
* Lead by finding the right balance between listening to employees' concerns and providing insightful direction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor or Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* 15+ years of business experience within the Power Generation / Industrial / Oil & Gas markets, must have been in leadership role.
* Substantial knowledge of the Kuwait and international energy markets. Prior experience of working with executive level leadership of Kuwait EPC companies and utilities would be ideal.
* Prioritizes initiatives by understanding the key elements Siemens Energy needs to deliver value to the business.
* Understands the fundamental economic components of the energy business.
* Proven ability to challenge traditional business thinking and find ways to explore new opportunities.
* Successful track record leading and developing large teams, particularly in a matrix organization.
