About the Job
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling company products and
meeting customer needs, primarily focusing on government entities, training
providers, schools, and universities. The role involves achieving sales
targets, establishing new accounts, providing product information and
training, maintaining client relationships, and delivering excellent customer
service.
Duties:
* Handle a portfolio of clients, including government entities, training providers, schools, and universities.
* Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through effective promotion and sales of company products.
* Plan and organize daily work schedule to proactively engage with existing and potential clients, securing orders and establishing new accounts.
* Prepare and submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
* Conduct pre/post adoption presentations and deliver product training sessions to support customer adoptions as needed.
* Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
* Maintain regular email and telephone contact with key contacts to ensure strong relationships and address any inquiries or concerns.
* Perform routine administrative duties such as order processing, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
* Monitor the market competition by gathering information on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
* Follow up with customers to provide full service, including arranging complementary courseware and supplementary materials based on their requests and corporate policies.
* Collaborate with the management team to recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
* Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, proposing appropriate solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
