- The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and
healthy work environment for employees. This includes developing and
implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing
safety training
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential
hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency
procedures, proper equipment usage, and hazard identification.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement
corrective measures.
- Maintain safety records and documentation in compliance with legal and
company requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement
initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes in
occupational health and safety.
- Conduct safety audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing
compliance.

\- A safety manager is required with at least 10 years of experience as a safety manager for road and infrastructure projects
\- Safety Officer with 5 to 6 years experience as a Safety Officer/ Inspector. NEBOSH and IOSH Certificate
