Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects,
contractors, and government agencies, to define project requirements,
objectives, and constraints.
2. Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess existing conditions,
analyze topographical data, and identify site constraints and environmental
considerations.
3. Prepare engineering designs, plans, and specifications for civil
engineering projects, including site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems,
and utility networks, using CAD software and engineering principles.
4. Perform engineering calculations and analyses to determine design
parameters, materials requirements, and structural integrity, and ensure
compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
5. Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate
multidisciplinary components into project designs, including structural,
mechanical, electrical, and environmental considerations.
6. Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules, and monitor
project progress, expenditures, and resources to ensure timely completion
within budgetary constraints.
7. Review and evaluate contractor bids, proposals, and construction
documents, and provide technical guidance and support during the construction
phase of projects.
