Job Description and Qualifications
THE PROJECT
NEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY:
Air Products has entered into a Joint Venture agreement with ACWA Power and
NEOM and together established the NEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY (NGHC). The
Company will be Owner and Operator of the world's first and largest green
hydrogen project at an estimated capital investment of USD $ 5bn. This unique
project will be a fore-runner in green hydrogen-based ammonia production and
will serve the new and growing global Hydrogen markets. The facility will be
sited in NEOM, KSA and will be powered by more than 4GW of renewable solar,
wind and battery storage. The project is scheduled to be onstream in ‎2026.
POSITION SUMMARY
The procurement and supply chain lead must possess strong project logistics
knowledge, procurement practices and standards, along with leadership and
motivation. This position supports supplier relationship management to ensure
alignment with operations and business strategies. This position is
accountable for all aspects of procurement processes from understanding
technical specifications, commercial terms, and business processes with a
focus on driving cost-effective operations. The candidate must demonstrate
skills such as, project planning and negotiating skills and must have
experience in KSA and be fully aware of the customs clearance and exmption
processes in Saudi Arabia.
NATURE & SCOPE
The candidate to support commercial leadership in managing the procrment
activities, i.e. buying, vendors selection, customs clearnance, duty exmption,
management of transportation and logistics providers. Provide leadership in
relation to sdelivery of procurement services to the project execution team,
as well as once the project is in operation from sparing, inventoy and
warehousing management support.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

* Adding vendors to SAP
* RFQ/Enquiries
* Production and processing of purchase orders

Subcontracts Systems
Provide subcontracts support for all purchasing activities e.g.
* RFQ/Enquiries
* Contract development
* Templates, procedures and processes

Procurement Processes
Provide consultation on the following:
* Procurement Policies and Procedures
* Procurement processes in SAP

Supply Chain Processes
Provide logistical support as follows:
* Freight forwarding and logistics
* Expediting
* Source Inspection

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of ‎10 years of industrial experience, involving international transport, trade and project logistics / project management experience.
* Experience with SAP is advantageous.
* Flexible working and short notice travel ability
* Strong organizational, team and time management skills.
* Working understanding of Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc..)
* Good analytical and problem solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information.
* Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
