Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  To maintain good working relationship with own colleagues and all other departments.

  To answer the telephone calls as per the Company standards.

  To make sure the guest rooms are clean and tidy at all times.

  To make sure guest requests are recorded accordingly and delivered perfectly and promptly.

  To keep all 'Information Files' updated with relevant information pertaining to guests.

  
  


• 
  

  To update and maintain all guest history file.

  
  


• 
  

  To have a complete understanding of and adherence to the hotel 's policies and procedures regarding fire, emergencies, security, health and safety.

  To make and recommend to Butler Supervisor, any suggestions and ideas that could enhance guest and staff satisfaction and quality of service.

  To ensure that the butler pantries are clean, well-organized and stocked at all times.

  To ensure a full and complete shift handover for the following shift.

  
  


• 
  

  To carry out all butler duties as per the standards laid out in the Butler manual and as per trainings given.

  To update the information board on respective floors with all information relevant to the scope of butler duties.

  To update the general hotel knowledge on the board daily.

  
  


• 
  

  To ensure smooth operation at all times.

  
  


• 
  

  To co-ordinate all operations with relevant departments in order to exceed guest expectations.

  
  


• 
  

  To keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

  To maintain open line of communication and co-ordinate with related departments to ensure customer request and complaints are handled effectively.

  To identify and anticipate guest needs and requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  To take necessary action when required to improved safety of work areas.

  To be aware of all hotel activities and the layout of the hotel and palace.

  To carry out smooth flow of operations in the Executive lounge, including setup and layout of morning breakfast buffet/ evening canap es, service of food and beverages (inclusive of alcoholic beverages), pickup of stores, maintenance of cutlery, crockery and glassware.

  To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

  To perform all work tasks according to hotel quality performance standards in the line with the hotel 's vision.

  To report any maintenance faults according to stated procedures.

  To keep daily logbook, key register, communication logbook up to date.

  To be aware of daily task which will include laundry/ servicing of rooms/ shoe shine service/ food and beverage (may also include alcoholic beverages)/ refreshing fruits in rooms/ checking and replenishing mini-bar.

  To adhere to statutory procedures in the event of emergencies.

  To ensure guest privacy is respected at all times.

  To be aware of guest names and ensure guest names are used while conversing with the guest.

Job Requirements & skills:

• 
  

  Diploma/ Certificate in Hotel or Tourism Management

  Graduation in any stream from a recognized university

  Minimum ‎2 year experience in similar position in the hospitality industry

  Previous experience of communication in a busy professional environment is essential
