Reporting to the Corporate PR Manager, you will be responsible for developing
the right qualitative visibility of CHANEL Watches and Fine Jewelry for all
Medias (written Press, Internet and TV) all over the Middle East Region in
order to enhance CHANEL's creativity, luxury and uniqueness and support
Boutique business. You will be supporting the manager on events projects.
Your main responsibilities are:
Participate in the implementation of a local Watches and Fine Jewelry PR
Action Plan :
Follow-up the Budget according to the international PR Plan
Capitalize on the yearly Fine Jewelry and Watches launch (Watches and Wonders)
and generate a high visibility for High Jewelry
Assist in the development of stories with the available PR tools (communiques,
interviews, photos, images, videos)
Follow-up the results of negotiations with the press - Monitor, analyze and
validate reports around it
Ensure the forecast of the press material necessary for each collection and
product launches (press kits, books)
Assist in the organization of press trips
Assist the fashion PR team with showroom activity around special CHANEL shoots
for WFJ
Facilitate shooting requests locally and internationally
Liaise with Paris on press attendance at international events/launches
Write Press Communique for opening and special events in the Region
Capitalize on Heritage, Know How, Luxury and Uniqueness of CHANEL
Assist the manager with events in all 3 divisions
Implement International and local Watches and Fine Jewelry shootings plan to
develop a qualitative visibility :
Develop Editorial placements
Follow-up on the logistic and organization of the shootings
You have a post graduated degree (in Business administration, Journalism,
Communications or Marketing) and an experience of 2 to 3 years minimum within
PR industry (preferabl in Watches and Fine Jewelry). You have a strong
knowledge of the luxury industry and PR network. Your strong interpersonal,
communication and organization skills will be a real asset to succeed in this
position.
English is a must, Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.
