JOB SUMMARY
This position will be part of the F&B Marketing and the DFM EMEA team to
support joined business objectives across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Based in Dubai, the key responsibilities include supporting the team on day-
to-day internal and external correspondence and communication, including F&B
content updates, consolidating reports, supplier relations related to the F&B
Marketing Activation, creative copy writing and more. This role will also have
a reporting line to the DFM team across the Continent.
Job Description
* F&B Content consolidation from hotel teams and content distribution across applicable CMS tools
* Consolidate and re-structure the F&B content bank
* Assist with marketing communications activities when required, for example, assisting with photo and video shots, productions of items related to F&B Marketing activation/event, copy writing etc.
* Coordinate activities in the department - meetings, monthly/quarterly reports, meeting minutes, department presentations and webinars
* Competitor watch including strengths and weaknesses, ongoing promotions & partnership activations
* Consolidate and research F&B best practices across the continent
* Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs, demonstrating a flexible, adaptable and proactive nature.
Candidate Profile
Experience
* Previous experience in marketing is a plus
* Experience of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign are a plus
Education or Certification
* High school completion or equivalent is required
* A University Degree is preferred
* Hospitality Management/Marketing Degree beneficial
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
* Initiative taking
* Fluency in English, additional languages a plus
* Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
* Excellent MS Office skills
* Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g., stakeholders, associates, customers, vendors, suppliers.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultured environment and working within tight deadlines
