As an intern, you will be matched to a Dubai based marketing manager and a
mentor. In addition to working on an impactful project, you will have the
opportunity to engage with employees for both personal and professional
development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other
interns throughout your internship. No matter the location of your internship,
we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.
What you'll do:
You will support the Channel marketer to facilitate growing Field marketing
needs from the Emirates Leadership team. The period July to November ‎30
contains high profile events vital to the lead pursuit and closure of deals,
including Gitex Global and the HPE Egypt Cloud conference.
These events are no longer supported at Global level, so all project
management and execution are now delivered by the single local Channel
Marketing Manager, who also has day to day responsibility for Focus Partners
and SPs across UAE + EQL regions.
This local Intern resource will fall under the local UAE Intern programme,
managed by HR and funded through UKIMEA marketing budget and agreed by the
Emirates and Africa MD.
The role will also contribute positively to our Youth level/scorecard rating.
* You will be involved in various marketing initiatives and learn first-hand how to set up, run, track, and optimize digital and personal campaigns.
* A particular focus is face to face event management, including Agency liaison, budgeting, brand development, logistics, alliances marketing and stakeholder reporting.
* You will have great interaction with a stakeholder including local team members and marketing teams in other countries.
* Projects can cover the full range of modern marketing vehicles - from social, content, email, mobile to large-scale event marketing.
* The successful candidate will support the UAE + Egypt Qatar Levant regions Marketing Manager

* Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
What you 'll need:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or similar field.
* Able to begin the internship in July ‎2023 for ‎5 months.
* Fluency in Microsoft Excel.
What we 'd prefer you bring:
* Able to communicate concepts with team and to peers.
* Passion for marketing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
* Exposure or Experience with digital marketing would be advantageous
