Purpose of position
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health is currently recruiting a 1 year Intern,
Communications and Public Affairs, to join the AMET Communications & Public
Affairs team.
The Communications & Public Affairs Intern will be assisting in the execution
and planning, development, and implementation of integrated external and
internal communication and public affairs strategies that engage and influence
stakeholders and support the growth objectives of Johnson & Johnson Consumer
Health in AMET. They will work closely with the AMET Communications & Public
Affairs Leader.
This role will require a high level of credibility, and strong interpersonal
skills to be able to build trusted relationships with external and internal
stakeholders across AMET.
The role is based in the Dubai office, and reports to the Communications and
Public Affairs Leader in AMET.
Key areas of responsibility
Support in driving employee engagement and advocacy through powerful
organizational communication
* Support executing internal communication plans, programs, and messages to inspire, engage, inform, and align employees across AMET.
* Assist the Communications & Public Affairs Leader for AMET to ensure harmonization of key initiatives across the cluster and to ensure AMET is visible in the broader cluster and regional internal communications.
Assist decisions to drive business growth, and develop and enhance our
reputation
* Support implementation of Communication and Public Affairs strategies to strengthen the corporate image and reputation of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health AMET as a leader, breakthrough innovator, and trusted partner.
* Maintain an understanding of current issues in the environment affecting Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health and their brands and issue reports.
* Proactively engage, inform, and influence key external stakeholders; develop relationships with key external stakeholders, including media, and major trade associations.
* Assess opportunities and organize proactive participation of company leadership in key events and forums.
* Identify and apply key outcomes and metrics to communication practices, and provide insights that improve quality, performance, and key capabilities.
* Works on communications crafting, issuing reports, and monitoring.
Support management of issues
* Identify potential Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health or brand-related issues and support developing local issues management strategies and processes by partnering with the Communications & Public Affairs Leader for AMET and Regional Issues Management Leader.
* Support creating meticulous monitoring and reports.
