Main Functions
Responsible for liaising with regional customers and ensuring that their quote
requests and service issues are dealt with in a prompt manner and in
negotiating the best possible vendor rates in order to ensure competitiveness
for the Middle East Region (excluding Saudi Arabia & Bahrain). Also
responsible for all import operational activities in conjunction with Agents
within the Middle East (excluding Saudi Arabia) for all STC product lines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
* Developing customer relationships and gaining access to market information through those relationships.
* Relaying customer and market information to those within Stolt that may require this information via email.
* Prompt creation of accurate quotes in the CPQ to meet customer and other Stolt Office requests.
* Creating and sending formal written quotations to customers based on the CPQ quote created.
* Follow up with customers on quotations provided where no orders have materialized.
* Updating accurate destination costs in quotes created by other Stolt offices for traffic inbound to the Middle East.
* Negotiating with vendors such as shipping lines, truckers, depots and cleaning facilities for competitive rates using the SRM portal.
* Updating and maintenance of AS/‎400 rate databases relating to rates provided by vendors.
* Working with the operations department in ensuring the accuracy of vendor invoices before payment is processed.
* Timely updates of sales support activities in CRM.
Import Operations
* Generating of Notice of Arrivals and Agents Advice.
* Raising of freight, demurrage and other invoices where applicable, in a timely manner.
* Co-ordination and close monitoring of updates for tank arrivals and actual date of vessel arrivals, by agents (where applicable).
* Liaising with customers, Stolt origin offices and agents in respect to delays/ problems experienced on import moves.
* Compiling weekly inventory reports for the Middle East/Sub-Saharan Region as required by the Management.
General
* Ensuring all metrics are kept in line with company targets.
* Follow up with customers on overdue freight and demurrage invoices, in conjunction with Accounts.
* Compiling monthly stats for the Middle East & Sub-Saharan Region for Management review.
The Ideal Candidate has
Functional Requirements
* University or college degree.
* ‎2 years' experience in Tank container or logistics industry is an advantage.
* Must be ethical, organized and goal oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer literate and knowledge of Windows Office.
* Able to work as a team player.
* Hindi Language is an advantage.
