The Team

The Candidate

As finance intern, **** you will join a committed finance team, driven with
the intent of delivering 'FIVE-star' financial experiences to an international
diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.

The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best
professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion
for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active
environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are
second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.

We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and
critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye
for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think
'on your feet' during changing situations is also essential.

You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving
service goals.

Key Responsibilities
* Carrying on duties concerning the migration of data from Tally ERP system to Sun systems and Oracle EPM Implementations.
* Assist in the preparation of a unified chart of accounts for Head Office and Hotel Operations as a whole.
* Assist in the preparation of the Fixed asset register and timely updating of entries to the respective class of assets.
* Assist in preparation of sales register and make sure the details are accurate with systems.
* Account-level reconciliations for the implementation process and overall inter-company reconciliations.
* Capture & reconcile petty cash accounts.
* Provide administrative support to management if required.
* Comply with general office policies, procedures, and all legal requirements.
* Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager.

Requirements
What We 're Looking For**
*
Computer processing skills, general accounting and bookkeeping training,
record-keeping practices and training, or related job experience of greater
than two years in a similar position.
* Demonstrate excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information accurately.
* Strong organizational and time management skills,
* Communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken).
* Self-directed with an ability to learn a systematic approach to accounting and
* to follow the approach without direction to maintain the integrity of the financial data.
* Bachelor Degree, CA Inter (Qualified) or Pursuing CA Final.
* Experience with Tally ERP accounting and current knowledge of all accounting standards associated with the preparation and maintenance of organizational financials.
