Mastercard Intern Program
The Mastercard Intern Program is a comprehensive program where students will
gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a
global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects
that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department's goals
and objectives.
Across the ‎8-‎12 weeks, you'll jump into experiencing work & life at Mastercard
whilst gaining valuable professional experience and the opportunity to
network. Successful interns might also have the opportunity to secure a place
in our Launch program upon graduating.

The following teams are hiring summer interns for the ‎2023 cohort, please go
through the description and requirements of the both the teams and indicate in
your CV, your first and second team preference. This information will be
leveraged to best match applicants with their desired teams.

Product and Engineering
What you'll do

You will be assigned a project within the Commercial Solutions Payments team.
Commercial Solutions Payments is a new structure within Mastercard,
responsible for building innovative, data driven, complex products aimed at
driving Mastercard growth and influence revenue across our commercial payment
streams (This includes products, acceptance, and C&I).

Program Qualifications
* To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept
‎2023.
* A Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate between
Dec-‎2023 and Aug-‎2024.
* Majoring in Business/Management/Economics/ Business
Informatics/Finance with a minimum predicted classification of a UK ‎2.1 or
equivalent GPA of ‎3.0.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with analytical and
problem-solving capability and a strong strategic & conceptual aptitude,
whilst being customer centric.
* English Language skills to a professional standard.

Mastercard Technology
What you'll do

You will join the Mastercard Technology team to support on innovative
projects. This team focuses on understanding the Tech needs of the region, be
it regulatory driven or market driven and delivering localized tech solutions
to the region. As an intern, you will experience the breath of the Regional
Tech function and will be involved in activities such as:
* Studio Process - be part of the product development lifecycle committee
from a Tech perspective and learn what is required to bring a product to
market
* Localization Projects - delivering localized tech solution to a market
* Operational Excellence - understand the components of high performing technology and how Mastercard engages customers to achieve operational excellence
* Tech Thought Leadership events - keeping our customers CIOs / CTOs
abreast of the ever- changing payment tech landscape

Program Qualifications
* To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept
‎2023.
* A Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate between
Dec-‎2023 and Aug-‎2024.
* Majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) / Business
Informatics / Industrial Engineering/ Business or Management major with
an optional minor in information systems
* Minimum predicted classification of a UK ‎2.1 or US equivalent GPA of ‎3.0.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with analytical and
problem-solving capabilities
* Interest in project management and new tech such as block chain & crypto
* English Language skills to a professional standard.
* PMP course is a plus
