Corporate Freight Pricing Executive - Air Freight

Purpose of the Job
Work closely with local operations and development teams to generate
airfreight quotations to support regular and/or spot pricing enquiries.

Job Responsibilities:
* Aggressively participate in freight rates negotiations by working closely with carriers and liners, transporters, agents and counterparts to acquire the best rates in the market.
* Develop and build solid relationships with carriers, agents and counterparts, at all levels, seeking best fit to secure the necessary rates and space agreements
* Help determine new services that we can develop by understanding the needs of the customers and keeping an eye on market including competitors' activity, port developments and trade lanes growth
* Follow up with airlines / shipping lines for spot rates ex: reduction in rates on specific trade lane due to capacity issues.
* Support the network in all RFQs and Tenders
* Manage Pricing team to handle all RFQ and ad-hoc enquiries received.
* Motivating, delegating, Coaching and directing team members
* Communicate with international stakeholders on all pricing related matters

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or any other field


• ‎3-‎5 year of relevant working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry


• Knowledge in DGR handling, pharma.


• Good AFR product and pricing knowledge


• Experience in ocean freight is a plus
