Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering
engaging digital experiences that focus on the consumer experience around
Football World Cup (amongst others) and that are fully integrated into the
adidas communication platform and flawlessly executed. Digital will continue
to be a key pillar of brand strategy at adidas ensuring the consumer
experience is always premium, seamless and personal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop an overall Digital Marketing Strategy in conjunction with the global and regional Brand Activation team. This will include brand and category objectives for online, mobile, paid social, and eCRM.
* Create, manage, and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns across GCC for football, running, training and Originals being flexible enough to act as a team leader or a team member depending on the campaign requirements.
* Manage and inspire external agencies in the development of key digital initiatives and tools.
* Develop and manage an analytics program for all digital marketing programs and social
platforms. Regularly share findings and adjust campaigns based on key metrics.
* Work closely with Public Relations, Sports Marketing, Brand Activation and Retail teams to gather assets and insights throughout the year for digital communication executions.
* Manage relationships with global hub teams, keeping them regularly informed on all category
projects.
* Regularly present digital concepts, campaign reviews and competitor activity to integrated
communication teams whilst remaining consistently abreast of current digital
marketing tools and techniques.
* Managing a large Marketing Working Budget.
KPI's:
* Managing and reporting on monthly media campaign KPI's
* Consumer Sentiment Tracking
* Brand Health KPIS (Brand momentum, Net Promoter Score, Spontaneous purchase intent, etc.)
Key Relationships:
* Global: Global Digital team, Global Marketing team.
* Regional: GCC teams
* Local: Brand Activation team, Trade Marketing, local agencies & E-Comm.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Cross-functional Marketing knowledge in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories (FMCG or sporting goods industry candidates preferred)
* Strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation.
* Analytics: ability to analyze data to improve strategic decision making and implementation.
* Creative: ability to shape the implementation of marketing plans.
* Deep-routed understanding of and ever-changing digital landscape.
* Experience in project management - including critical path management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Experience with digital production process and technical nature of developing digital marketing initiatives.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience in delivering solutions or services via new and emerging web technologies.
* An ability to articulate which elements of digital marketing are suitable for different campaigns and how they deliver results.
* Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree in Marketing and a proven previous experience (minimum 6 years) in either agency
(CRM, display or paid social) or a client side digital marketing role.
* Google Certification Program (AdWords Professional).
* Google Analytics IQ Certification - Google Web analytics certification (optional).
* Fluency in English both spoken and written is mandatory. Arabic is a plus.
