Preparation Supervisor

Overview of the role
We are currently looking for technically competent & performance driven Used
Car Prep Supervisor to work with our Automall team in Dubai. You will be the
first contact for customers in the Workshop, they are the image builder for
the Service Department and present a picture of faith and confidence.

What you will do
* Ensures that Prep Center is well managed and operates smoothly for high level of efficiency and productivity.
* Ensure condition of vehicle is thoroughly checked and discrepancies noted and communicated to the customers. Record any requests from the customers and act on it immediately
* Ensure proper delivery of the vehicle to the customers as per the SLA and clearly communicate/record the jobs carried out.
* Carry the stock check to ensure proper workshop loading. Qualify and confirm the vehicle complaints and provide advice about vehicle repair, repair duration and warranty, parts, cost etc. .
* Ensure job card is opened efficiently and accurately for quick and correct execution of the job and once the job is completed; raise necessary invoices to ensure timely delivery and collection of LPO from the customers.
* Ensure effective personal and telephonic communication with the customers regarding charges, approvals and negotiations. Achieved monthly financial targets set for net sales
* Manage and monitor work in progress to ensure timely delivery of the vehicle to customers.

Required skills to be successful
* ‎2 to ‎3 years' overall experience as a Service Advisor, Controller or Workshop Planner in the automobile dealership
* Has technical ability to check vehicle discrepancies and communicate to the customers
* Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile /Mechanical Engineering
* Has the ability to write technical reports

About the team
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will working with Technicians & Service
Advisor on a daily basis. You will communicate all changes that affect a
vehicle to the concerned department and constantly collaborate with other
internal & external departments to maximize overall business benefits.

What equips you for the role
* Diploma or Degree in Technical school / Certificate/ Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
* ‎3 to ‎5 years of experience in automotive industry or similar role.
* Ability to drive and manage a small group of professionals.
* Ability to maintain strong administration and presentation skills.
* Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand material and provide instructions to all employees.
* Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform their job.
